High Hardness CBN Grinding Wheel Used for Grinding and Polishing
The CBN grinding wheel is a tool used for grinding, fine grinding and polishing. It uses CBN (cubic boron nitride) abrasive as raw material, and uses metal powder, resin powder, ceramic and electroplated metal as binders to make products of various shapes. CBN grinding wheel has more advantages than diamond grinding wheels in processing ferrous metals.
Structure:
The structure of CBN (cubic boron nitride) grinding wheel generally consists of three parts: working layer, matrix layer and transition layer.
The working layer, also known as the CBN layer, is composed of abrasives, binders and fillers, and is the working part of the grinding wheel.
The transition layer, also known as the non-CBN layer, is composed of binders, metal powder and fillers, and is the part that firmly connects the CBN layer to the matrix.
The matrix layer is made of aluminum or steel, and plays the role of supporting the working layer and clamping the grinding wheel.
Classification:
CBN Grinding wheels can be divided into the following four types according to different processing techniques and different components of binders used. Their properties and uses (referring to mechanical processing purposes) are also different.

| Resin CBN grinding wheel | The production process of the grinding wheel is simple and the production cost is low. The molding is simple but it is not easy to correct and shape. It is used for small-batch processing of multiple shapes. Such as tool grinding and tool processing, and glass processing. |
| Vitrified bond CBN grinding wheel | The vitrified bond CBN grinding wheel has the advantages of strong grinding force, high-speed processing without burning the workpiece, and can be corrected and durable. It is ideal grinding tool with high-speed, high-efficiency and high-precision. |
