High Toughness CBN Grinding Wheel Used for Grinding and Polishing
The CBN grinding wheel is a tool used for grinding, fine grinding and polishing. It uses CBN (cubic boron nitride) abrasive as raw material, and uses metal powder, resin powder, ceramic and electroplated metal as binders to make products of various shapes. CBN grinding wheel has more advantages than diamond grinding wheels in processing ferrous metals.

Applications:
The CBN (Cubic boron nitride) grinding wheels are suitable for processing high manganese steel, high chromium, nickel, molybdenum alloy steel, chilled cast iron and other materials, and are particularly suitable for stable high-precision grinding in automated, semi-automated and multi-machine management production. Due to its excellent grinding performance and long service life, CBN grinding wheels are widely used in the metal processing industry, especially in processing occasions that require high precision and high surface quality. Notes:
CBN grinding wheel is not suitable for grinding carbide and non-metallic hard materials. Under high grinding temperature, CBN will react chemically with alkaline aqueous solution. CBN grinding wheel will decompose in 300℃ alkaline solution and can decompose slightly in boiling water, which will destroy the crystal shape of abrasive grains. Therefore, only oil-based coolant can be used for grinding, not water-based coolant.
